Emergency Care
As Houston’s first Emergency Room, we brought the first x-ray machine to Houston. We’ve come a long way since then in providing the city’s newest emergency medicine complex. The John S. Dunn, Sr. Emergency Care Center provides 29,000 square feet of treatment space, advanced technologies, comfort and care.
From the patient covered drop-off area on St. Joseph Parkway, to convenient parking just around the corner, we try to put patients first. A large, comfortable waiting area and 34 patient rooms provide comfort for both patient and family. State-of-the-art medical equipment as well as easy access to radiology and the lab help reduce wait time and enhance patient treatment.
At times we need to refer non-emergent patients to local clinics in order to care for patients that require immediate care. For a list of these clinics click here.
