Directions and Maps to SJMC

Valet Parking is available at the Pavilion and the Women's Center.  It is free for outpatients and disabled patients, with a minimum charge of $5 for all other patients and visitors. 

If coming from the North on I-45:

• Take I-45 South toward Downtown
• Exit Pierce Street off I-45
• Remain on Pierce Street until you reach Crawford Street
• Turn left on Crawford
• Turn left on St. Joseph Parkway
• Main visitor parking is in parking garage at St. Joseph Parkway and Austin

If coming from the South on Highway 59

• Exit Gray/Pierce Street and go to the 3rd light which is St. Joseph Parkway
• Make a left onto St. Joseph to SJMC Campus
• Main visitor parking is in parking garage at St. Joseph Parkway and Austin

If coming from the North on Highway 59:

• Take downtown ramp to 59 South past George R. Brown Convention Center and St. Joseph Medical Center
• Take McGowen/Tuam exit
• Immediately turn right onto McGowen (it will be the first light)
• The next light will be Crawford
• Turn right on Crawford to SJMC campus
• Turn left on St. Joseph Parkway
• Main visitor parking is in parking garage at St. Joseph Parkway and Austin

If coming from the South on I-45:

• Take I-45 North toward town
• Take Downtown Destinations/Scott exit
• Stay in left lane of ramp and exit St. Joseph Parkway
• Stay on St. Joseph Parkway to Hospital Campus
• Main visitor parking is in parking garage at St. Joseph Parkway and Austin

If coming from the South on 288:

• Take 288 North to 59 North
• Exit Gray/Pierce Street and go to the 3rd light which is St. Joseph Parkway
• Make a left onto St. Joseph Parkway to SJMC campus.
• Main visitor parking is in parking garage at St. Joseph Parkway and Austin

If coming from the East on I-10:

• Take Downtown ramp to 59 South pas George Brown Convention Center and St. Joseph Medical Center
• Exit McGowen Street
• Immediately turn right onto McGowen (it will be the first light)
• The next light will be Crawford
• Turn right on Crawford to Hospital Campus
• Turn left on St. Joseph Parkway
• Main visitor parking is in parking garage at St. Joseph Parkway and Austin

If coming from the West on I-10:

• Take Galveston (South) ramp to I-45
• Exit Pierce Street off I-45
• Remain on Pierce Street until you reach Crawford Street
• Turn left on Crawford
• Turn left on St. Joseph Parkway
• Main visitor parking is in parking garage at St. Joseph Parkway and Austin
